Felony Meth Possession Charge for Old Fort Man
Detective Kyle Gibson with McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged David Lee Roy, 37, of Old Fort with felony Possession of Methamphetamine. He was issued a secured bond of $10,000.
On December 9, Detective Gibson and probation officers were conducting a sex offender compliance check at Roy’s residence. During this time, a suspected amount of meth was located in Roy’s bedroom.
Upon further investigation, Roy was charged with possession and transported to the McDowell County Detention Center.
