BarkDrop 2024
The 11th year of Operation BarkDrop was an incredible success due to the cumulative efforts of our local residents, business owners, police officers, family, and friends from all over.
We were able to deliver needed supplies, toys, food, medicine, and more to multiple shelters, including Martys Place, EASEL, SAVE, the Wildlife Center, and more. Thanks to our amazing friends at Amazon, we were also able to help families with dogs with our first-ever food pantry donation at Marty's Place. This incredible program provides food assistance to pet parents who need a little extra help to fill their plates as well as their pets! What an incredible program. Thank you to all the residents who volunteered their time and donated so much to our wish lists. Our huge sponsors, Amazon (Literally donated TONS of supplies & a Team to Help), Wegmans (Donated so much and also brought an entire team to help), Nylabone, Qualitas, All the West Windsor Police Officers (PBA #271) (Who donated their time, their money and all their strength to lift and sort and deliver hundreds of boxes). This is a massive community effort, with individuals, police officers, and businesses coming together every year to give so much to those who need it. Gloria and I, all our police officers, staff, and Elf Team 6 members, are forever indebted to everyone for your support and generosity. Please consider volunteering next year so you, too, can see how heartwarming it is to put smiles on the faces of the shelter workers/volunteers and, more importantly, the shelter pets who get toys, blankets, and food they deserve.
