Bailey Charged with Possession of Meth
Deputy William Guzman with McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged John Wayne Bailey, 43, of Marion with felony Possession of Methamphetamine. He was given a secured bond of $7,000.
On December 28, deputies responded to a domestic disturbance involving Bailey and a relative. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the relative who stated that Bailey was using drugs and living inside his van on the property. A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up a suspected amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
