Avoid Summers Bay Road 
The City of Unalaska requests that residents avoid driving past the Landfill on Summers Bay Road due to the potential of rock slides. Current weather conditions of heavy ran and high winds have caused rocks to fall onto the road making it potentially unsafe for vehicles and pedestrians. The roads department does not plan to work on this portion of the road until Monday, 01/06/2025.
