Winter Storm Warning 
The NWS has issued a WINTER STORM WARNING for most of Missouri including Cooper and Pettis Counties starting today, Saturday, 1/4/2025 at 6PM thru 3AM Monday, 1/6/2025.
WHAT: Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet accumulation between 4 & 6 inches and ice accumulations up to one tenth of an inch is expected. Winds gusting as high as 40 MPH.
WHERE: Cooper and Pettis Counties
WHEN: From 6PM today to 3AM Monday
IMPACTS: power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice. Travel could be nearly impossible.

It is best not to travel and stay inside. Even walking outside will be hazardous.
