WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT 
The latest update from the National Weather Service shows that our next winter storm is shaping up to have a significant impact on our region. Snowfall totals are projected to be 6 - 8 inches for our area, with wind and possible icy conditions mixed in.
If these projections stand true, travel will be hazardous while winds create drifting snow and drive wind chills into the single digits.
Snow is forecast to start late tonight and continue into the overnight hours Monday. By Tuesday the snow should stop, however the threat of ice on the ground and drifting snow will remain.
Make preparations now to ensure you have what is needed to stay inside during this approaching storm. And take this time to check on neighbors and loved ones, especially those who are elderly or have special needs, to make certain they have what is needed to get through these next couple days.
