Winter Storm Warning

Good morning. This is a message from Sea Isle City’s Office of Emergency Management.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Sea Isle City and the surrounding region.
Starting later tonight and continuing through Monday, 6- to 8-inches of snow accumulation is expected.
Also, a wintry mix of sleet and freezing rain may occur Monday afternoon before turning back to snow on Monday night.
During the storm, snow may fall up to 1-inch per hour, and strong gusty winds are expected.
Widespread accumulating snowfall will create dangerous driving conditions – so please avoid driving in the storm.
If possible, residents are asked to move their vehicles off the streets to help with snow plowing operations.
Parents are advised to look for communications from local schools before sending their children to their bus stops on Monday morning, in the event of possible school closures or delays.
The Sea Isle City Department of Public Works will be delaying Curbside Trash & Recycling Collections by one-day this week.  Therefore, Monday’s trash collections will take place on Tuesday; Tuesday’s collections will take place on Wednesday; and Wednesday’s collections will take place on Thursday.
In case of any Emergency, please dial 9-1-1.
Thank you – and stay safe!
