Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. requests the public’s help identifying the below-pictured suspect in connection with a robbery that occurred on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
At approximately 6:15 p.m., a male suspect approached a victim who was inside a valet booth at the Wyndham Garden Hotel, located at 1 International Way and demanded cash. When the victim informed the suspect that he had no cash, the suspect removed a set of car keys to a business vehicle, a 2020 red Ford pickup truck, and fled southbound on Routes 1 and 9.
The suspect is described as 5’10” tall, wearing a gray sweatsuit and a full black face mask.
