INCIDENT: Possession for Sale of Narcotics
LOCATION: Tippecanoe Avenue/9th Street, San Bernardino
SUSPECT(S): Jessica Hernandez, 36-year-old resident of San Bernardino
David Preciado, 41-year-old resident of San Bernardino
John Guzman, 35-year-old resident of Redlands
Claudia Diaz, 39-year-old resident of Loma Linda
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On December 23, 2024, at about 12:29 a.m., Deputy L. Skinner and Deputy A. Fonzi conducted a traffic stop on a 2006 BMW for violation of California Vehicle Code 4000(a)(1), expired registration. The rear passenger, Jessica Hernandez, was found to have an active felony warrant for the sale of narcotics.
Upon a search of the vehicle, Skinner and Fonzi located a large quantity of suspected methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, fentanyl, multiple digital scales, a large quantity of United States currency, and other items indicative of the sale of narcotics. Jessica Hernandez, John Guzman, and Claudia Diaz were arrested and booked at the Central Detention Center for multiple felony charges for narcotics trafficking.
Deputies L. Skinner, A. Fonzi, T. Larson, and M. Jebbia served a search warrant at Preciado's residence and recovered a large quantity of suspected methamphetamine, digital scales, and other items indicative of the trafficking of narcotics. Based on the evidence recovered, deputies identified David Preciado as being involved in the sales of narcotics. The District Attorney's office filed charges and an arrest warrant was issued for Preciado. On January 5, 2025, Skinner, Fonzi, Larson, and D. Lopez served the warrant at Preciado's residence. Preciado was arrested and booked at the Central Detention Center for the possession of narcotics for sale.
