Meet the Town Manager Candidates - January 8, 2025 
Several months ago, Town Manager John Hozey announced his plans to retire in May 2025. The Town Council approved hiring Baker-Tilley as the consultant in the Town Manager search. The recruitment process has been ongoing for the past several months and a number of applicants have been reviewed. The list of candidates has now been narrowed down to two!
These two candidates will be in Cape Charles for several days this week to tour the Town, meet the staff and our citizens, and to interview with the Town Council.
A public reception has been scheduled for Wednesday, January 8th, at the Oyster Farm Pearl Event Center beginning at 5:00 PM. We encourage everyone to attend to meet these candidates!
Town Council will be holding their interviews on Thursday afternoon.
