MONDAY, DECEMBER 30, 2024:
2:58 AM Officer Williams initiated a traffic stop near Mowry Ave & I-880 onramp. A 30-year-old male was cited for driving with a suspended license.
7:55 AM Officer Frentescu investigated a commercial burglary near Central Ave & Cedar Blvd. Reported loss included tools.
9:39 AM Officer Piquette responded to a domestic disturbance reported near Cedar Blvd & Haley St. A 28-year-old male was arrested and booked into Santa Rita Jail for corporal injury, grand theft, and vandalism.
9:42 AM Officer Taylor investigated a vehicle burglary near Thornton Ave & Cedar Blvd. Reported loss included tools.
10:43 AM Officer Lomeli responded to an attempted vehicle theft near Dragonfly St & Stevenson Blvd. The vehicle ignition was tampered with.
2:51 PM Officer Taylor recovered a stolen vehicle along Jarvis Ave.
4:21 PM Officer Lomeli investigated multiple vehicle burglaries on Newpark Mall Road. The loss is currently unknown.
4:22 PM Officer Piquette investigated a license plate theft reported near Newark Blvd & Brittany Ave.
6:44 PM Officer Soto investigated a vehicle burglary on Joaquin Murieta Ave. A battery was reported missing from the engine bay.
10:37 PM Officer Lara investigated a window smash vehicle burglary near Cedar Blvd & Haley St.
11:17 PM Officer Orozco responded to the area of Cedar Blvd & Robertson Ave on the report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered by a neighboring agency.
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 31, 2024:
10:06 AM Officer Shaffer was dispatched to the area of Jarvis Ave & Newark Blvd for the report of a fraudulent purchase and the theft of vehicle components.
10:31 PM Officer Leath investigated a shoplifting incident near Thorton Ave & Cedar Blvd.
6:50 PM Officer Orozco initiated a traffic stop near Newark Blvd & Thornton Ave. A 30-year-old male was arrested for violating a court order and was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
7:56 PM Officer Cervantes investigated a robbery near Newark Blvd & Jarvis Ave. The loss of $2,000 was reported from a cash register.
9:13 PM Officer Stevenson initiated a pedestrian stop near Central Ave & Cedar Blvd. A 48-year-old male was arrested for possession of narcotics and booked into Santa Rita Jail.
9:31 PM Officer Orozco responded to a disturbance reported near Thornton Ave & Spruce St. A 24-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication and was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 1, 2025:
5:34 AM Officer Cervantes investigated a window smash vehicle burglary reported near Lido Blvd & Jarvis Ave.
7:55 PM Officer Shaffer observed a person asleep behind the wheel and initiated a traffic stop near Fircrest St & Jarvis Ave. The driver, a 39-year-old male, was arrested for driving under the influence, and for causing a hit-and-run collision. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
THURSDAY, JANUARY 2, 2025:
6:45 AM Officer Diaz-Perez investigated a vehicle theft from the area of Central Ave & Filbert St. The vehicle was later recovered on Newpark Mall Road.
8:07 AM Officer Medina investigated an attempted commercial burglary near Gateway Blvd & Jarvis Ave where a lock was forced open.
11:05 AM Officer Diaz-Perez initiated a pedestrian stop near Jarvis Ave & Dumbarton Ct. A 55-year-old male was discovered with multiple warrants and was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
11:11 AM Officer Medina responded to the area of Jarvis Ave & Newark Blvd for a commercial burglary. A deadbolt lock was discovered damaged.
12:24 PM Officers investigated multiple license plate thefts reported throughout the city.
2:43 PM Officer Kim investigated a bicycle theft reported near Lido & Cedar Boulevards.
FRIDAY, JANUARY 3, 2025:
12:47 AM Officer Dale initiated a pedestrian stop on Jarvis Ave. A 43-year-old male was discovered with narcotics and violating the terms of his probation. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
5:05 AM Officer Leath responded to an assault reported near Dumbarton Ct & Jarvis Ave.
6:21 AM Officer C. Torres was dispatched to an armed robbery near Mowry Ave & Cherry St. Reported loss included power tools.
7:00 AM Officers investigated multiple vehicle burglaries on Joaquin Murieta Ave. Reported loss included tools.
11:44 AM Officer Medina responded to a sexual assault reported near Cedar Blvd & Joaquin Murieta Ave.
6:28 PM Community Service Officer (CSO) Vuong was dispatched to a shoplifting incident reported near Newpark Mall Road and Thornton Ave.
6:36 PM Officer Berlanga responded to a disturbance near Jarvis Ave & Fircrest St. A 43-year-old male was arrested for possession of narcotics and violating the terms of his probation. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
SATURDAY, JANUARY 4, 2025:
1:11 AM Officer Kapu initiated a traffic stop near Thorton Ave & Cedar Blvd. A 36-year-old male was booked into Santa Rita Jail for driving under the influence.
2:30 AM Officer Berlanga responded to a battery reported near Haley St & Jarvis Ave. A 43-year-old male was booked into Santa Rita Jail for corporal injury and false imprisonment.
6:53 AM Officer Dale responded to a commercial burglary near Central Ave & Cedar Blvd. Entry was gained by sawing off the door locks.
11:07 AM Officer Taylor investigated a package theft near Edgewater Dr & Millwood Ct.
2:31 PM Officer Taylor investigated a window smash vehicle burglary near Sycamore St & Graham Ave. Reported loss included a bracelet and fragrances.
4:46 PM Officer Dale recovered a stolen vehicle on Joaquin Murieta Ave.
6:45 PM Officer Kapu arrested a 34-year-old male near Cherry St & Thornton Ave for outstanding warrants. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
SUNDAY, JANUARY 5, 2025:
12:39 AM CSO Vuong investigated a window smash vehicle burglary reported near Thornton Ave & Cedar Blvd. Reported loss included a bag containing personal items.
10:08 AM Officer Diaz-Perez responded to a jewelry theft reported near Haley St & Jarvis Ave.
11:45 AM Officer Diaz-Perez responded to a domestic disturbance near Mayhews Landing Rd & Bettencourt St. A 59-year-old male was booked into Santa Rita Jail for corporal injury.
12:43 PM Officer Lomeli investigated a vehicle burglary near Jarvis Ave & Fircrest St. Loss of vehicle components were reported.
7:04 PM Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle near Thornton Ave & Sycamore St. After investigation, a 35-year-old male was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, vehicle theft, providing a false identity, violating probation terms, and outstanding warrants. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
9:08 PM Officer Stevenson investigated a stolen license plate reported near Cherry St & Clark Ave.
