Plane Crash on Arden Street, #TempleCity

On Monday, January 6, 2025, at approximately 08:05 AM, Temple Station deputies along with the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the 4900 Block of Arden Street, Temple City regarding a small plane crash.  Upon the arrival of Los Angeles County Fire, they extracted a male pilot and passenger from a small Cessna aircraft which had crashed in the backyard of a residence.  Both the pilot and passenger were uninjured and there were no injuries to any civilians on the ground.  Additionally, there does not appear to be any structural damage to any homes.
 
At this time the cause of the crash is under investigation.  We will be collaborating with the Federal Aviation Agency to determine the cause.
 
“Thankfully there were no injuries to the occupants of the plane or any civilians on the ground.  We will work closely with our Aviation partners to investigate the cause” said Temple Station Captain Meza.
 
 
The 4900 block of Arden Street will remain closed until the investigation is concluded.
