Meridian Fire Department Responds to Single-Family Home Fire
MERIDIAN- At approximately 5:07 PM this evening, the Meridian Fire Department (MFD) responded to a working fire at a single-family home in Meridian near North Dayside Ave. Thanks to the quick and coordinated efforts of first responders, the fire was brought under control with no reported injuries.
Crews from Meridian Fire, Nampa Fire, Eagle Fire, and Ada County Paramedics (ACP) collaborated on the scene. Intermountain Gas and Idaho Power also provided essential support to ensure the area’s safety.
There was a reported explosion, however, the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The swift and efficient response prevented further damage and ensured the safety of nearby residents. The Meridian Fire Department sincerely thanks all assisting agencies for their collaboration and dedication in ensuring a swift and effective response to this incident.
