Wilmington Police have arrested two men on drug charges.
On January 3, at approximately 10:58 a.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division were in the 300 block of West 8th Street when they observed two male subjects engaged in drug-related activity. Police made contact with 38-year-old Richard Brown, and 27-year-old Dashawn Latham of Philadelphia, PA, who were taken into custody without incident. Police recovered 67.76 grams of marijuana, 2 MDMA pills, and $251.
Brown has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver – Two Counts
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $20,000 unsecured bail.
Latham has been charged with the following offense:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was released on his own recognizance.
