The Wildwood Crest Police Department is urging motorists to avoid unnecessary travel as DPW crews are working to plow roadways throughout the Borough. Officers have responded to numerous calls for motorist assists due to vehicles being stuck in the snow. This puts our public safety personnel in harm's way when they have to exit their vehicles and walk on icy roads. We anticipate the roadways to improve as plowing operations continue throughout the day; however, icy conditions may still persist. Please exercise caution if you have to travel.
