Narrative:
On 01/06/25, at approximately 10:47 p.m., Sheriff’s Dispatch received a call from a male subject stating he had just killed his girlfriend inside of their hotel room, at the Palm Garden Hotel. The caller also stated he was feeling suicidal.
 
Deputies from the Thousand Oaks Police station responded to the Palm Garden Hotel. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the male subject and made entry into the hotel room. Deputies located an adult female inside of the location who was deceased, based on injuries she sustained.
 
The male suspect was taken into custody and placed under arrest for Penal Code 187(a) – Murder, without incident.
 
The investigation shows this to be an isolated incident, with no outstanding threat to the public.
