Cass County Sheriff Clint Roach reports that deputies of the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a two vehicle crash on US 12 Hwy and Gumwood Rd. Milton Township, Cass County Michigan, at approximately 1603 hours on 01/06/25.  The investigation showed that a vehicle driven by Jack Schram (64 years old from Mishawka, IN) was northbound on Gumwood Rd at US 12 when he rear ended another vehicle, driven by Eileen Sullivan (55 years old from South Bend, IN). Sullivan was transported by SMCAS Ambulance to St Joe Medical Center for injuries sustained in the traffic crash. Assisting agency on scene was SMCAS Ambulance. All subjects were wearing their seatbelts, and alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
