Wildfire Update:
Per fire authorities, the Eaton Fire is moving eastward. LASD deputies and public safety staff are preparing for a potential response if the Eaton fire continues to move eastward. An earlier fire originating at the riverbed near Irwindale Avenue has been put out.

Residents following Ready, Set, Go! should have evacuation plans in place, organize their emergency evacuation supplies, and have essential evacuation personal belongings easily accessible. Vehicles should be fully fueled, facing out in their driveways and ready to Go!   
 
When Incident Command and Law Enforcement decide to issue an Evacuation Order, residents should be able to quickly gather their families and pets and leave the area to designated evacuation sites, or to family and friends’ homes outside the fire area.
 
More information will follow should an Evacuation Order be implemented.

Power Outages:
Multiple lines are down leading to a Citywide power outage.

Fallen Tree Branches:
Several large trees have fallen, blocking lanes on both the north and south sides of Huntington Drive. LASD deputies and public safety staff are assisting with traffic control. If possible, please avoid Huntington Drive or fully cooperate with public safety staff detours if you drive through Huntington Drive.

School Closures 
Per the Duarte Unified School District, all schools will be closed January 8, 2025.
