**Seeking Information on Theft at South McDowell Quarry**
The McDowell County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information from the public about a recent theft that occurred on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at South McDowell Quarry on Old Glenwood Road.
Video surveillance shows an individual breaking into a company work truck around 2:30 a.m. and taking items.
An unidentified black Toyota pickup truck was seen on the property earlier that day. It is currently unclear whether the driver of the Toyota is connected to the theft.
