Power Outages Update and School Closures 
Southern California Edison (SCE) estimates power restoration by late Thursday afternoon, January 9. Crews are conducting visual inspections of all power lines in the city to ensure there is no risk of secondary fires caused by wind-damaged lines before service can be restored.
Additionally, all Duarte Unified School District (DUSD) schools will be closed tomorrow, January 9.
