SUBJECT:  Motor Vehicle Crashes into Building
DATE/TIME: 01/09/2025 4:15 pm

LOCATION: AT&T in Ocean Township            
 
NARRATIVE:   On January 9^th, 2025 at approximately 4:15 pm officers responded to the AT&T store on Rt. 35 for a report of a motor vehicle that had crashed into the building.  The caller reported that there were injuries as a result of the crash.  Upon the officers’ arrival, they determined one subject had sustained injuries and First Aid was dispatched.  The investigation revealed that the vehicle, driven by an 81 year old female, crashed through the front of the building when she pressed the accelerator instead of the brake while she was attempting to park in front of the business.  The injured person was transported to a local hospital for further treatment with non-life threatening injuries.   Anyone who has further information in regards to this crash, please contact Officer Ryan Krug of the Traffic Safety Unit.
