Watch Commander's Night Report - January 8, 2025

CAD CALLS:826

1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1752) 2100 Block of Lucerne Avenue, Civic District

The male victims, 19, 19, and 20 were in a vehicle when the suspects approached and fired gunshots towards them. The victims were not injured and fled the area. SUSPECTS: Black male adult and two unknown race males.

2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2100) Harrison Street and Church Street, Seaport District

The male victim, 37, was walking near the listed area when the suspect exited a tent and struck the victim in the leg with an unknown object. The victim was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.

3. Attempted Homicide (2112) 3000 Block of Grayhouse Lane, Seaport District

The male victims, 78 and 55, were at the location when a known family member struck them with an object. Both victims were transported to an area hospital for serious injuries. Detectives responded to continue the investigation. ARRESTED: Isaiah Weitherspoon, 22, for elder abuse and attempted murder charges.

4. Resisting Arrest (2300) 4700 Block of Kentfield Road, Valley Oak District

Officers responded to an area park for a female who was in distress. The suspect shattered a glass bottle, picked up a broken piece of glass, and refused to comply with officers' commands. Officers used force to take her into custody. The suspect continued to be combative and was taken to an area hospital for treatment. She was turned over to another agency for evaluation. SUSPECT: Adult female, 25.

5. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0345) 600 Block of East Oak Street, Civic District

The female victim, 27, was in her residence when the known suspect forced his way inside. The suspect armed himself with a knife and a struggle ensued. The victim was cut during the struggle, and the suspect fled the area. The victim did not require medical attention. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult
