Suspect Arrested for Felony Theft
Man arrested for felony theft from CVS Pharmacy.
San Mateo, CA – On January 8, 2025, at 2:11 p.m., the San Mateo Police Department received a call from employees of CVS Pharmacy, located in the Borel Square Shopping Center, about a theft that just occurred. The employees told officers the suspect had left the business and was able to provide a good description of the suspect.
Officers responded to CVS to contact the employee, while other officers searched the surrounding area looking for the suspect. Officers located the suspect, identified as Marlon Robinson, at a nearby train station. Robinson was safely detained by officers as the investigation continued. Officers searched Robinson and located the stolen merchandise and a methamphetamine pipe. Robinson was arrested for the theft and possession of drug paraphernalia and booked into the San Mateo County Jail.

Remember details such as the suspect’s appearance, clothing, any distinguishing features, and which direction they flee. 666.1 PC- Theft with prior convictions, 459.5(a) PC- Shoplifting, 11364(a) HS- Possession of drug paraphernalia.
