...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EST SATURDAY... WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches. WHERE...A portion of southeast Michigan. WHEN...Until 1 AM EST Saturday. IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute. ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Peak snowfall rates are expected during the evening rush hour period, roughly through 8 pm. During this timeframe rates in excess of a quarter inch per hour are possible resulting in accumulations of 1 to 2 inches within a few hours. Snow lessens in intensity overnight with total accumulations by early Saturday morning being between 2 to 4 inches for areas within the advisory. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
