Narrative:
On 01/08/2025, (S) Brayan Gomez was arrested at his residence for robbery, false imprisonment, and criminal threats following a domestic dispute with his (V) girlfriend.  Gomez is currently on felony probation for a conviction of Penal Code § 69 – [Resisting an Officer].
At about 6:00 PM, patrol resources from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 700 block of Aguacate Loop located in the unincorporated area of Santa Paula.  Arriving deputies located the victim who obtained refuge at a neighbor’s residence.
As the investigation unfolded, deputies determined there was probable cause to arrest Gomez for felonious violations of Penal Code § 211 – [Robbery], Penal Code § 236 – [False Imprisonment], and Penal Code § 422 – [Criminal Threats].  Once additional resources arrived, deputies contacted Gomez at his residence and arrested him without incident.  Additional evidence linking Gomez to the crimes was also located in Gomez’ possession.
Gomez was later booked at the Pre-Trial Detention Facility (PTDF) for Penal Code § 211 – [Robbery], Penal Code § 236 – [False Imprisonment], and Penal Code § 422 – [Criminal Threats].  Gomez remains in custody pending arraignment with a bail set at $60,000.00.
