Child Pornography Arrest 
| Yesterday, members of the Janesville Police Department Street Crimes Unit arrested suspect, Alexis Reyes Rivera in the 1200 block of Anthony Avenue after a three-month investigation conducted by the Detective Bureau. While monitoring a law enforcement database, Detective Winiarski noticed an individual with ties in the Janesville area was sharing child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The shared content was verified as child pornography and enough probable cause was obtained to arrest the suspect, Alexis Reyes Rivera, for Possession of Child Pornography. When Alexis was arrested, he had a cell phone in his possession which was later forensically downloaded, and additional child pornography was located. He was arrested for four counts of Possession of Child Pornography and was later transported to the Rock County Jail pending his initial court appearance.
