Below freezing temperatures are noted along and south of I-40 this evening which is leading to a wintry mix of sleet and freezing rain. Any moisture on the roadway will quickly freeze over causing hazardous driving conditions through late this evening. Please use caution if you have to be out on the road. Slow down and leave plenty of room in front of you. Bridges and overpasses are the first to freeze so use extra caution when driving over a bridge or overpass.
