On Saturday, January 11, 2025, at approximately 12:41 am, Palmdale Sheriff’s Station personnel responded to a motor vehicle traffic collision at the intersection of Sierra Highway and Technology Drive in the incorporated area of the City of Palmdale.
The preliminary facts of this investigation indicate that at approximately 12:40 am on January 11, 2025, a 2007 Honda Accord driven by a 19-year-old male was traveling northbound on Sierra Highway. It appears the driver was unable to maintain control of the vehicle, at which time the vehicle left the roadway and collided with a traffic signal pole. The 19-year-old male driver of the Honda succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The 20-year-old passenger of the vehicle sustained minor injuries.
