The Asbury Park Police Department is receiving inquires regarding a Facebook post that is circulating stating there is a “serial killer” loose in the area. THIS IS NOT ACCURATE. The incident/indivual being referred to occurred in September of 2024 in Yakima County, Washington. There is NO THREAT to the Asbury Park community regarding this incident.
