Special Weather Statement until 08:00AM Sunday
Above-freezing temperatures on Saturday allowed the snow, slush, and ice to melt. While most roads were able to dry during the day thanks to the sunshine and winds, some shaded areas remained wet. Any residual moisture will freeze tonight with low temperatures in the teens and lower 20s. Motorists should drive with extra caution through the early morning given the potential to encounter some slick spots. Slow down and leave plenty of room in front of you. Untreated bridges, overpasses, and sidewalks will be the most prone to black ice.
