At 940 am, an area of mostly light snow was spreading northeastward into the South Haven region. This area of snow will expand as it advances into the Grand Rapids to Kalamazoo area by 1100 am and then continues further northeast into Big Rapids and Lansing by Noon. The snow may linger into the early afternoon hours. With the temperature remaining below freezing, locally slick travel conditions could develop. Motorists should take it slow and allow extra time to reach their destination.
