Evacuation orders have not changed. Zones 1-16 and 19, including the canyon areas remain in Evacuation.

The City has received reports that some media sources are providing misinofrmation about updates to Sierra Madre's current evaucation orders. 

The City of Sierra Madre remains in EVACUATION  for Zones 1-16 and 19, including the canyon areas.  The current orders have not changed.

Progress in battling the Eaton Fire has been made, with 14, 117 acres burned, and 27% containment, up from yesterday's 13%.  Crews within the City's boundaries are still working to extinguish active hot spots.

Areas north of Grandview are NOT cleared to re-populate at this time and remain under Evacuation Orders.
 
Executive Order 2025-01 remains in place for 6:00 pm to 6:00 am curfew in evacuated areas.

Executive Order 2025-02 remains in place from 3:00 pm Sunday, January 12, 2025 until 3:00 pm on Sunday, January 19, 2025 prohibity parking in the evacuated areas.
