Flood Advisory until 12:00PM Monday 
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall and snow melt at lower elevations with frozen ground.
* WHERE...The following areas, Anchorage, East Turnagain Arm, Matanuska Valley and Western Prince William Sound.
* WHEN...Until noon AKST Monday.
* IMPACTS...The primary impacts will be along roadways and low lying areas due to frozen ground, blocked culverts, and drainage ditches.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1252 PM, Moderate to Heavy rain has fallen at lower elevations from the Mat-Su Valley down through the southern Kenai Peninsula overnight and into Sunday. This combined with frozen ground is causing ponding and localized flooding along roads and low lying areas. Localized flooding has been reported in Palmer, areas of Anchorage and near Seward Harbor. Small streams in the area may also experience minor flooding with ice still intact in many areas. No flooding is expected along large Rivers. A small landslide was report and cleared from the Lowell Point Road Sunday morning. Additional localized landslides are possible at lower elevations. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood - If you live near or along area creeks and streams stay alert and be prepared to take action. - Storm drains should be kept clear of debris as much as possible. - Be aware of surroundings and avoid driving on flooded roads if possible.
