MONDAY, JANUARY 6, 2024:
6:41 AM Officer Lor investigated a window smash commercial burglary near Central Ave & Cedar Blvd. Loss reported of toolboxes.
7:19 AM Officers investigated a commercial burglary near Gateway Blvd & Jarvis Ave. A fence was cut and toolbox lock forced open. Reported loss included industry tools.
11:56 PM Officer Lomeli investigated an attempted vehicle burglary near Central Ave & Newark Blvd.
1:31 PM Officer Taylor investigated a vehicle burglary near Cedar Blvd & Chapman Dr. No loss was reported.
8:08 PM Community Service Officer (CSO) Vuong towed a vehicle with expired registration in a no-parking zone near Parada St & Potrero Dr.
TUESDAY, JANUARY 7, 2024:
1:17 AM Officer Norvell investigated a suspicious circumstance reported near Buena Vista Dr & Parada St. Several mailboxes were observed pried open. The loss is currently unknown.
9:02 AM CSO Lau responded to a theft reported near Jarvis Ave & Spruce St. Personal accessories, keys and documents were reported taken from a vehicle.
11:07 AM Officer Shaffer investigated a commercial burglary on Mowry School Road. Entry was made via a shattered door. Store merchandise was taken, and the cash register was ransacked.
12:29 PM Officer Shaffer responded to the report of an unwanted guest near Bettencourt St & Burning Tree Dr. A 54-year-old female was arrested for an outstanding warrant, possession of narcotics, and resisting detention. She was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
1:20 PM Officer Leath was dispatched to Thornton Ave & Cedar Blvd for a fraud investigation. A 23-year-old female was arrested for embezzlement and was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
2:27 PM Officer Dale initiated a traffic stop near Cedar Blvd & Mowry School Road. A 29-year-old male was cited for possession of narcotics and driving with a suspended license.
2:41 PM Officer Diaz-Perez initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle without license plates near Cherry St & Central Ave. A 27-year-old female was cited for an outstanding warrant.
5:09 PM Officer Dale responded to a domestic disturbance near Plummer & Cherry Streets. A 40-year-old male was later arrested near Thornton Ave & Sycamore St for battery and was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 8, 2025:
3:28 AM Officer Cervantes responded to a report of a theft of vehicle tires near Peachtree Ave & Willow St.
7:16 AM Officer Williams investigated a vehicle burglary on Newpark Mall Road. A wallet was taken from the vehicle.
7:23 AM Officer Diaz-Perez investigated multiple vehicle burglaries near Sycamore & Filbert Streets. Reported loss included power tools.
7:55 AM Officer Kim investigated a vehicle burglary reported near Cherry St & Auburn Ave. A jacket was reported missing from the vehicle.
9:49 AM CSO Lau was dispatched to Central Ave & Filbert St for a theft of vehicle components. Fuel was siphoned from a vehicle.
10:10 AM Officer Diaz-Perez responded to an attempted jewelry swap scam reported on Newpark Mall Road. The suspect fled prior to arrival.
12:32 PM Officer Lor cited a 46-year-old male for possession of narcotics and trespassing near Dumbarton Ct & Jarvis Ave.
2:57 PM Officer Dale investigated a mail theft incident near Haley St & Jarvis Ave.
4:47 PM Officer Medina investigated a window smash vehicle burglary near Willow St & Bayshores Ave. There was no loss reported.
7:52 PM Officer Shaffer responded to Newpark Mall Road for a disturbance. A 45-year-old male was located with active warrants and narcotics. He was arrested and released on scene with a citation.
THURSDAY, JANUARY 9, 2025:
11:17 AM Officer Lor was on routine patrol near Newark Blvd & Jarvis Ave and encountered a 43-year-old male on probation with outstanding warrants. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
7:46 PM Officer Leath investigated a theft reported near Jarvis Ave & Newark Blvd. Reported loss included a bracelet and necklaces.
9:47 PM Officer Piquette responded to a vandalism near Thornton Ave & Ash St. A 21-year-old male was arrested and booked into Santa Rita Jail for vehicle vandalism.
FRIDAY, JANUARY 10, 2025:
10:07 AM Officers conducted a welfare check near Cedar Blvd & Lafayette Ave. A 32-year-old female was arrested for violating a court order. She was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
2:24 PM Officer Lor conducted a welfare check on Newark Blvd & Mayhews Landing Road. A 43-year-old male was located on active probation. He was arrested for possession of narcotics and was released on scene with a citation.
9:36 PM Officer Berlanga responded to a disturbance on Joaquin Murieta Ave. A 19-year-old male was arrested for domestic battery and vandalism. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
SATURDAY, JANUARY 11, 2025:
12:52 AM Officers initiated a traffic stop near Thornton Ave & Mayhews Landing Road. A 23-year-old male was arrested for driving under the influence and was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
4:53 PM Officer Orozco investigated a package theft near Willow St & Seawind Way.
8:43 PM Officers were dispatched to an active burglary. A 15-year-old male was detained in relation to the incident.
10:49 PM Officer Kapu conducted a welfare check near Thornton Ave & Sycamore St. A 32-year-old male was arrested for obstructing peace officers and was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
SUNDAY, JANUARY 12, 2025:
2:40 AM Officer Williams was on routine patrol and initiated a traffic stop near Spruce St & Wells Ave. A 32-year-old male was arrested for driving under the influence and was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
4:14 AM Officer Stevenson was dispatched to an attempted vehicle burglary reported near Thornton Ave & Willow St. A window was discovered shattered with no loss reported.
11:42 AM Officer Taylor investigated a bicycle theft near Jarvis Ave & Newark Blvd. The bicycle was later recovered.
3:00 PM Officer Lomeli investigated a window smash vehicle burglary reported near Cherry St & Smith Ave. The loss is currently unknown.
9:07 PM Officer Stevenson responded to a domestic disturbance reported near Smith Ave & Guava Dr. A 39-year-old male was arrested for battery and was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
