ATTENTION:
Due to water main damage and subsequent repairs related to the Main Street reconstruction project on January 14, 2025, a Boil Water Advisory is in effect for all residents and businesses in Flemington Borough until further notice.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
The water main damage may have caused a drop in pressure, potentially allowing contaminants to enter the water system. NJDEP is conducting testing to ensure water safety.
DURATION:
This advisory remains in effect until further notice. We will notify the public when the water is deemed safe for consumption by NJDEP. Updates will be provided as they become available.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IMPACTS A PORTION OF RARITAN TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS & BUSINESSES THAT RECIEVE THEIR WATER FROM FLEMINGTON BOROUGH WATER
UPDATE 1/5/24: The advisory applies to Flemington Water Service customers in Raritan Township, specifically:
- Shields Avenue
- Pennsylvania Avenue
- The Route 31 corridor between the Hunterdon Central Regional High School driveway at Highland Avenue and Church Street

ATTENTION:
Due to water main damage and subsequent repairs related to the Main Street reconstruction project on January 14, 2025, a Boil Water Advisory is in effect for all residents and businesses in Flemington Borough until further notice.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
- Boil all water for at least one minute and let it cool before using it for:
- Drinking
- Cooking
- Making ice
- Brushing teeth
- Washing fruits and vegetables
- Use bottled water as an alternative where possible.
- Discard any ice made after the water main damage occurred.
