Hubbard City water department is addressing multiple water main breaks throughout the city due to cold weather, NO BOIL ALERTS HAVE BEEN ISSUED. Areas currently being impacted include: Burdie Dr, Saul Dr, Fairchild Dr, Grandview Ave and Center St. ONLY A SMALL Number of homes on each street might be impacted.
If you are experiencing sputtering, discoloration or brown water that is due to the recent work on the water lines, that is normal. Please let your water run for a few minutes to clear the lines of any issue. IF you want to boil water before cooking you can, but NO BOIL ALERTS are in effect at theis time. IF there is any follow up needed the water department will leave a card on your door.
