Portable basketball hoops located within the street or directly adjacent to the curb are an obstruction when clearing the roads of snow and ice and pose a hazard to the snow removal team.

The Department of Public Works is requesting all residents to please remove the portable basketball hoops not only off the street or sidewalk in front of your house but also pull them back enough to allow snowplows, salt trucks and front-end loaders to operate without obstruction.
