IMPORTANT TRAFFIC ADVISORY! KEEPER DAY 5K RUN AND PARADE (Tomorrow, Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025) 
Tomorrow, Saturday, February 1st, 2025, from 7:45a.m. to 11:15a.m. there will be road closures in Lighthouse Point in conjunction with the Keeper Day 5K Run and Parade. The run will begin and end at Frank McDonough Park, prior to the Keeper Day Parade, and will utilize a portion of the parade route (see below). The Keeper Day Parade will start in the 1900 block of NE 24th Street and end at Frank McDonough Park.
Residents of the Lake Placid area, and all areas EAST of Lighthouse Drive, between Sample Road and NE 24 Street, should note that the race/parade route, which extends from Frank McDonough Park south to NE 24 Street, will be closed between the hours of 7:45am to 11:15am to vehicular traffic during intermittent times.
Keeper Day 5K Race Road Closures
From 7:45am to 9:15am, the Lake Placid area, and all areas EAST of Lighthouse Drive, between Sample Road and NE 28 Street will be closed to vehicular traffic.
NOTE: THE PARADE/5K RACE ROUTE WILL OPEN TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC BETWEEN 9:15AM and 9:55AM.
Keeper Day Parade Road Closures
From 10:00am to 11:15am, the Lake Placid area, and all areas EAST of Lighthouse Drive, between Sample Road and NE 24 Street will be closed intermittently to vehicular traffic.
These road closures are necessary to accommodate the runners and the parade that follows.
