Cass County Sheriff Clint Roach reports at approximately 2:46pm, deputies were dispatched to a vehicle vs bicyclist crash on Rudy Road, in Wayne Township, Cass County, MI. 
 
Investigation shows that 32-year-old Dowagiac resident Michael Brown was bicycling northbound on Rudy Rd., when he was struck by 84-year-old Dowagiac resident Harvey Anson.  Both where traveling northbound when the crash occurred.  Brown was transported by SMCAS to Lakeland Niles Hospital.
 
Assisting at the scene was Dowagiac Police, Dowagiac Fire Department, and SMCAS Ambulance.  A seatbelt was worn at the time of the crash; Brown was not wearing a helmet during the crash.
