Power Outage - Do Not Call 911 unless it is an emergency 
There is currently a power outage affecting a good chunk of San Mateo. PG&E estimates the power should be restored by 11:30am. Please do not call 911 to report the outage, as we are getting inundated with calls unnecessarily. These calls interfere with actual emergency calls for service.
If driving, please treat all street light outages as four-way stops, yielding to the person who arrived at the intersection first, or to the person on the right.
We are also receiving numerous alarm calls due to the outage. Please check your security systems and reset them as necessary.
