A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for our area. Heavy rains are expected to begin late tonight into Saturday. Snowfall expected to begin Sunday, with possible snow accumulations of 4-6" expected. Heavy winds, with gusts of up to 50mph, are also expected.
Drivers should expect dangerous road conditions throughout the weekend, and are encouraged to avoid or delay travel if possible. If you must travel please give yourself extra time and use caution.
Residents are encouraged to park vehicles off the roadway when possible, and be mindful of emergency snow routes where parking is restricted during a snow warning. A Nixle emergency alert will advise residents should it become necessary to remove vehicles from designated roadways. RESIDENTS WHO WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE TO MOVE THEIR VEHICLES ARE ENCOURAGED TO PLAN ACCORDINGLY. Vehicles in violation are subject to fines and may be impounded.
