The Matawan Police Department and Office of Emergency Management are currently monitoring a winter weather event forecasted to affect our area beginning midday today, January 19th. Current forecasts indicate the potential for wintry precipitation for our area totaling up to (3)+ inches.
Please be reminded that current Borough Ordinance prohibits parking on any Borough street when snow-covered and mandates the clearing of sidewalks within 12 hours of daylight after the snow has fallen.If travel is necessary, please use caution.
