A Winter Weather Advisory is now in effect for Monmouth County. A rain/snow mix this afternoon will change to snow this evening. Weather forecast this morning have increased snow totals to 2-4 inches in the Belmar area. Should snowfall accumulate on the roadways, be sure to follow local snow ordinances to allow DPW to clear the roads efficiently. Do not forget to clear the snow from your sidewalks as any snow that falls is expected to stick around for several days.
Following the snow tonight, very cold weather is expected to continue throughout the week.
