Declaration of Snow Emergency ************************************* Edward W. Brancati, Village Manager of the Village/Town of Mount Kisco, pursuant to Section 101-8 of the Code of the Village/Town of Mount Kisco, does hereby declare that a snow emergency exists, and by reason of a severe snow storm, does hereby establish the following emergency parking and traffic rules and regulations, and suspends promulgated rules and regulations, insofar as they are inconsistent herewith: No parking on any street or roadway from 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 19, 2025, through 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 20, 2025. VIOLATORS MAY BE TICKETED OR TOWED No person shall throw or deposit snow upon any plowed portion of any street or roadway. Homeowners are responsible for the actions of private contractors in their employ. This regulation shall not be inconsistent with Section 1219 of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law. FREE Parking is available in all municipal parking lots during the snow emergency. This declaration shall be in effect for the time period stated above. You will be able to move your vehicle into any of the municipal parking lots any time on Sunday, January 19th, free of charge. Please also remember to remove your vehicle as soon as possible after 10:00 am on Monday from the municipal parking lots, so that DPW may clear the parking lots. Reminder - due to the holiday on Monday, bottles and cans will be picked up Village-wide on Tuesday, and paper/cardboard will be picked up Village-wide on Wednesday.
