Severe Weather Shelter Open Tonight through Tuesday night 
Due to freezing temperatures, the Severe Weather Shelter will be open Sunday, January 19th to Tuesday, January 21st.
The shelter is located at the Senior Community Center, 370 Brien Ave. SE. Shelter residents must check in between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
If anyone needs assistance after hours, they must call 911 and have a police/fire escort to check into an activated shelter.
For this activation, rides to the severe weather shelter on Bainbridge Island are available by calling (206) 735-9712 by 4 p.m. today, tomorrow, and Tuesday.
