Snow is falling in Neptune Township, and is expected to continue until around midnight, leaving us with about 3" of accumulation. Due to the dropping temperatures and the wintery mix that fell prior to the snow, accumulations began quickly on roads and untreated surfaces. Neptune DPW's salt trucks are on the road, and plows are standing by to hit the road as soon as the snow is deep enough. Keep in mind that the extreme cold tomorrow will freeze any wet/untreated surfaces, so use extra caution on the roads and your front steps in the morning.

All Neptune Township residents (especially Ocean Grove residents due to the narrow streets) are reminded that Snow Parking Regulations go into effect as soon as the roads are snow-covered! Snow Parking Regulations ensure our DPW can properly clear and salt the streets. Vehicles in Ocean Grove must be parked as indicated by the posted signs, and vehicles in the rest of Neptune Township must be parked on the odd-numbered side of the street.
