With cold weather approaching, an emergency warming shelter will open at Kingdom Touch Ministries at 6 PM on Tuesday to assist those in need. The shelter requires community support to operate throughout this potential impact period. Donations and volunteers are greatly needed. Items needed include: Drinks (water, coffee, juice) Non-perishable food items & snacks Hygiene % First Aid products Blankets & Sleeping Bags Donation Drop-off Location: 6750 Tillman Rd. Additionally, the Jasper County Council and Emergency Services encourage residents to check on their neighbors, especially the elderly and those who may need extra assistance, during this severe weather event.
