* WHAT...For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as 12. For the Extreme Cold Warning, dangerously cold wind chills between 5 and 15 above expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, south central, southwest, and west central Louisiana and southeast Texas.

* WHEN...For the Cold Weather Advisory, until 6 PM CST Tuesday. For the Extreme Cold Warning, from 6 PM Tuesday to 9 AM CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. An extended period of freezing temperatures could cause ruptured water pipes.
