January 17, 2025:

• Officer Reynaga and Officer Smith were dispatched to a traffic crash at West Michigan Avenue and North Durand Street. A 78-year-old female was transported to the hospital.
• Officer Kuhn responded to the 1300 block of Chittock Avenue for an assault report.
• Officer Hogan visited with students at Queens Elementary.
• Officers were dispatched to Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and East Wilkins Street for a single vehicle crash. The 34-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated, and conditional bond violation.
• Officers responded to the 1300 block of Chittock Avenue for an assault report. The suspect left prior to officers’ arrival and has not been located. Felonious assault charges will be sought on a 45-year-old male.
• Officer Panther conducted a traffic stop near Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and East Wilkins Street. The 23-year-old female driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

• Officer Marcum responded to the 1600 block of Lansing Avenue for a personal welfare check.
• Sergeant Burkart, Officer Reynaga, and Officer Smith assisted JSO with a search warrant in the 900 block of Orchard Place.
• Officer Panther conducted a traffic stop at South Mechanic Street and East Cortland Street. The 40-year-old male driver was arrested for driving with a suspended license; obstructing a court order; conditional bond violation; and driving while intoxicated – 3^rd offense.
• Officer Panther made contact with a subject near West Wilkins Street and South Blackstone Street. The 53-year-old female was arrested for conditional bond violation.
• Officer Frazier conducted a traffic stop at Detroit Street and North Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The 45-year-old female driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

• Officer Bean conducted a traffic stop near West Ganson Street and North West Avenue. The 32-year-old female driver was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
• Officer Bean made contact with a subject in the 200 block of South Jackson Street. The 53-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
• Officer Kuhn was dispatched to the 500 block of North Jackson Street for a personal welfare check. A 25-year-old female was transported to the hospital.
• Officer Reynaga and Officer Smith responded to a domestic dispute in the 700 block of Irving Street. A 45-year-old male was arrested for resisting and obstructing, and domestic assault.
• Officer Soloman made contact with a subject at Carl Breeding Way and Mitchell Street. A 42-year-old male was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants.
• Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Stanley Street for shots fired. Casings were located, and two homes in the area were struck. The investigation is ongoing.

• Officer Goings responded to the 1200 block of North West Avenue for a personal welfare check. A 38-year-old female was transported to the hospital.
• Officer Goings was dispatched to the 500 block of North Blackstone Street for a larceny that just occurred. Officer Goings located the suspect near West Ganson Street and North Jackson Street. The 35-year-old male was arrested for larceny of mail; possession of narcotics; resisting and obstructing; and multiple outstanding felony warrants.
• Officers responded to the 300 block of Steward Avenue for disorderly subjects. A 33-year-old male received a citation for trespassing.
