The Agape Life Center at 5855 S. Okatie Highway will open this evening as a warming shelter serving Southern Jasper County from 9 pm until Thursday morning at 7 am. This shelter is in addition to Kingdom Touch Ministries at 6714 Tillman Rd in Northern Jasper County, which will open this afternoon from 6 pm until Thursday at 8 am. Both facilities are seeking community support to help offset operational costs and assist those in need. Donations of water, snacks, clean blankets, sleeping bags, and wipes are greatly appreciated.
